The founder of My Black Shrink is a Black, Licensed Mental Health Professional. My Black Shrink was birthed after she saw the need for more Black faces in the mental health field and a place where Men and Women could be both unapologetically Black and unapologetically healthy without having to choose between the two. The founder believes that together, we can begin to eradicate the stigma surrounding mental health through empowerment, education, encouragement, and tools that provide emotional support.

The two most important relationships are the ones that you have with yourself and with others. MBS also strives to help people create healthy relationships starting within which could lead to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
